Q. Where can I get more information about SSid bands?
A. All the information about SSid bands is on the web site. If there is a specific question or concern about the id bands please contact us, call 360.491.2255, or e-mail us at info@safetysportid.com.

Q. How do I become a Distributor of SSid bands?
A. Just e-mail us at sales@safetysportid.com and information will be sent to you with more details.

Q. Why don't you take credit cards?
A. There is a lot of misinformation about buying on the Internet. It has been company policy to not offer this type of purchase. However, due to the demands of our customers we are reconsidering this policy.

Q. Are the embroidered band available and what is the price?
A. We are attempting to have these bands made available but there are some manufacturing difficulties. Until these problems are resolved the embroidered bands will not be available.

Q. Do you make ID bands for pets?
A. Not at this time. However, at sometime in the future Safety Sport ID may consider making ID bands for pets.

Q. Can I get my child's name on a band?
A. A word of caution! You may not want your child's name displayed in public view. Please reconsider this option before ordering. Yes you can but this would be considered a "custom" made band. There is additional cost involved in the production of such a band. If this is what you would really like it can be done but we would suggest ordering several bands in different sizes. That way as your child grows you will have a band for them in the future.

Q. Can you send me a price list?
A. Pricing for an individual bands is $8.95 and is on the order form. If you want to become a Distributor, place a Custom Order or a large quantity order please contact us, at 360.491.2255, or e-mail us at sales@safetysportid.com to receive a quote on your project.

Q. Is the band durable enough to wear everyday?
A. Yes, the owner of SSid has "custom" bands he has worn for years. A little gentle soap and water will do wonders, clean it while you're wearing it in the shower or throw it in the washing machine.

Q. Do you have bands for runners?
A. The owner of SSid is a runner, he wears his band whenever he goes running. There is no specific band for runners, the band is generic and can be used for all sport activities including water sports as the band and the insert are waterproof. See our graphics page for a runner's suggested image.

Q. I'm looking for bracelets that stretch, do yours stretch?
A. No, none of our id bands stretch. It's a nice thought but there are problems with printing the material. There are also problems with the insert using this type of fabric. We know of no supplier that produces this type of band.

Q: What colors are available?
A: The ID bands are available in ten different colors: blue, green, maroon, orange, pink, purple, red, teal, yellow, and white. However, depending on the availability of material check the order form to make sure what colors we have available.

Q: What type of clasp is on your bands?
A: The clasp is high impact plastic, low profile center release buckle and not made from Latex. Another safety feature of the band is that the breaking point of the clasp is 25 pounds. Please see our product information page for more details.

Q: If I customize the band, what type of print can I use?
A: We offer block styles (proven to be the most readable) that are probably installed on your computer (Arial & Helvetica and Times or New Times Roman). The size of type is usually 14 to 18 points. The lettering can be all caps or in upper and lower case. See the graphics page for other examples.
